In 1991, Mr. Sukavat Amarekajorn, the founder of PMS, received the third-prize award from the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT) for developing tablet coating machinery, Thai Coater® This side-vented pan-coating apparatus was an international breakthrough for PMS. Since then, hundreds of units were sold and used by industries and academics across the globe.
In 1997, PMS established the second manufacturing facility in Nakorn Prathom to facilitate the exponentially expanding of the customerís demands. PMS invested huge amount of money in facilities, machines, and training to develop the capacity and quality of the machines with the aim to build PMS as a world class company.
In 2000, PMS successfully sold its machine to the 30th country. Hence, there were thousands of PMS machines, which were the income generators for hundreds of companies in 30 countries within 5 continentals, during that period.
In 2004, PMS fully developed a business unit to facilitate the fully-customizable projects. As a consequence, it successfully developed the banknote coating system for the Bank of Thailand (BOT). We also developed many projects for chemical, fermenting, food, and pharmaceutical production plants with the special requirements.
